Welcome!
This lesson will teach you everything you need to know to set up your SafetyCulture sensors properly.

Step 2: Login to SafetyCulture
Now you've confirmed you have everything you need, get logged into SafetyCulture via the web or scan the AR code above to use the mobile app and let's get started.


Once you're there, head to the sensors tab.


Step 3: Adding your Gateway
Click "+ Add sensor or weather" at the top of the page.


Select all the items that you need from the choices below:

Click "+ Add sensor or weather" at the top of the page.


If connecting a Standard Fridge & Freezer Sensor:
Turn on the sensor by pressing and holding the  ACT button, located on the front of the sensor, for 5 seconds until the green light starts flashing, continue holding until you see a solid red light and then release the  ACT button


If connecting a Long Range Walk-in Freezer Sensor:
Turn on the sensor by pressing and holding the button located on the front of the sensor for 5 seconds until the green light starts flashing. Continue holding until you see a solid red light, and then release the  ACT button


We recommend the following placement:
Place your gateway on a flat surface, high up and near a window if possible.
Avoid placing gateways in drawers, cupboards or areas surrounded by metal.
If you want to mount your gateway on a wall, position the gateway at approximately 180cm/6ft off the ground.
Ensure the antenna is pointing upwards.
If you need to move your gateway from where you set it up, there is no need to go through the setup process again. It will automatically connect when it regains power.
