How to use the features of the SHEQSY app on an iPhone.

Complete this lesson before progressing to the rest of your training.

This training aims to get you up-to-speed with how to use the SHEQSY app.
Press the down arrow to find out more.
From this training, you will be able to complete the following actions in the app:
Start and Finish an Activity
Trigger and Resolve panics
Activate the QuickPanic widget

Introduction 

Step 1
Download the SHEQSY App from the Apple App Store.


Step 2
Use the temporary password sent in the invitation email from  ** no-reply@sheqsy.com ** to sign in.


Step 1
Enter your email address under Username.
Then enter the password that was provided to you in the invitation email, and press Sign in.


Step 2
Allow SHEQSY to access Bluetooth, Motion and Fitness, Camera and Mobile Data.


Step 3
Select Location then, allow access Always and with Precise Location.
Note: Your Location will only be shared once an Activity has been started.


Step 4
Lastly, select Notifications then Allow Notifications, Sounds and Badges.

SSO Login

Step 1
Download the SHEQSY App from the Apple App Store, if it has not been deployed onto your device via mobile device management.


Step 2
Open the SHEQSY App from your home screen, and press Continue with SSO.


Step 1
Enter your email address and follow the login prompts.


Step 3
You will see several pop-ups upon login.
Click Allow on each.


Step 2
If you have not done so already, allow SHEQSY to access Bluetooth, Motion and Fitness, Camera and Mobile Data within your phone settings.


Step 4
Select Location then, allow access Always and with Precise Location.
Note: Your Location will only be shared once an Activity has been started.


Step 5
Lastly, select Notifications then Allow Notifications, Sounds and Badges.

Shifts

Step 1
Press Start Shift to start a shift on the SHEQSY App.


Step 2
While you are on a shift, you will be able to start individual activities by pressing Start Activity and filling in the required fields.


Step 3
To end a shift, press End Shift.
You will then receive a summary of your shift.
Press End Shift on the pop-up to confirm.
Note: You will be unable to end the shift if there is an Activity still in progress. You must end the Activity before you can end the Shift.

Activities

Start Activity
You must fill in three fields to Start an Activity.
Press the down arrow or swipe up to take a look.


ACTIVITY NAME
Add the job or client ID under Activity Name.


ACTIVITY TYPE
Press the **Activity Type ** field and select an Activity Type from the preconfigured activities set by your administrator.


DURATION
Press the Duration field, then spin the wheels to select the duration.


Once these fields have been populated, press Start to commence the activity.
You will then be taken to the Location Notes screen.


Location Notes is an optional field where you can type in extra information about your location.
This is recommended if your GPS location will not provide enough information (i.e. you may want to include unit, apartment and street numbers or site access instructions).


Press Next after you have filled in the Location Notes to start the Activity.


Once your Activity is in progress, your screen will look like this.
When you're done, you will need to Finish the Activity.


Finish Activity
To conclude the activity, simply press** Finish**.
Then, press Yes on the pop-up to confirm you want to finish the activity.


A summary of the activity will then show. Press OK to return to the start screen.

** Trigger a Panic **

Trigger a Panic
To trigger a panic, hold down the orange PANIC button for two seconds. It will then display an orange ring.


Trigger a Panic
You can also trigger a panic from the Start Activity screen by holding the red exclamation button in the top right-hand corner for** two seconds.**


While a panic is activated, your screen will look like this and your location will be shared every 30-seconds.


Resolve a Panic
To stop a panic, press the orange** STOP PANIC ** button, then press either False Alarm, Near Miss or Incident.


Panic Widget
To trigger a panic from the home screen, you can use the panic widget.
Find out how to install the QuickPanic widget, in the next section of this lesson.


Install the Apple QuickPanic Widget
By installing the SHEQSY QuickPanic widget, you can trigger a panic from the home screen of your Apple device, even when the SHEQSY app does not have an Activity in progress.


** Step 1**
To install the widget, first **swipe left to right **on the phone home screen to get to the widget menu.


Step 3
Scroll down the list of available widgets to find the QuickPanic widget, then click on the **plus icon (+) **to add the QuickPanic widget.


Step 4
Next, scroll up the list to the installed widgets.
Drag the QuickPanic widget to the top of the list by clicking on the three bars on the right-hand side.


Step 5
Lastly, go back to your phone’s home screen and swipe from left to right again. The SHEQSY QuickPanic widget should display a Panic button.

To activate the widget, swipe from left to right when on your home screen.

Then, click the PANIC button.
Note: You do not need to hold the widget for two seconds, just click it.

Bluetooth Button

Bluetooth Button
The Bluetooth button allows you to perform certain actions without having to open the SHEQSY app.
You must pair your Bluetooth Button to the SHEQSY App before it will operate.
Swipe to see how to pair it through Bluetooth.


Step 1
In the SHEQSY app, go to the menu on the left-hand side and click on Settings.


Step 2
Scroll down to **Paired Devices **section and click Pairing.


Step 3
While you have the Other Devices screen open on the SHEQSY App, hold the SHEQSY Bluetooth Button for 10 seconds to pair the Bluetooth button to your app.


The app will then show the SHEQSY Bluetooth Button as connected (paired), and display the battery health and signal strength.


In Other Devices you can see your connected devices.

Calendar Appointments

Navigate to a Calendar Appointment
Once your calendar appointment has been connected to the SHEQSY app, the appointment will show up as an Activity in the app.
Swipe to see how to use SHEQSY to navigate to your calendar appointment.


Step 1
Press Upcoming Activity to see a map to your appointment.
You will also see an estimated distance, travel time and suggested route to get to the appointment from your current location.


Step 2
When you are ready to start driving to the appointment, click Enroute.
You will then have the option to Navigate which will automatically open the route via Google Maps or Apple Maps.


Step 3
When your SHEQSY App is in Enroute status, it will automatically update your status to Arrived when your phone is within 250m of the appointment location.


Step 4
Upon arrival at your appointment location, open the SHEQSY App and press Start to commence your Activity as per normal.
