There are some cases when exposure to workplace hazards cannot be avoided through better-designed machinery and equipment.
In these situations, **risk controls **must be applied to reduce the chances of these hazards causing damage or harm.

Risk Control of Hazards


Safety Light Curtain
Emits light beams over a chosen area which, if interrupted by an individual or object, elicits a safety response such as an alarm or a physical barrier.


Safety Controller
A single safety controller can be connected to multiple machines. This allows workers to shut machines down with a single push of a button in emergency situations.


Indicator Lights
Compact and highly visible, indicator lights can be placed almost anywhere in the manufacturing plant. They are used to indicate the safety and operation statuses of machines.

Before operating any machine or equipment, make sure that you...
have the proper training in operating the said machinery,
implement the knowledge learned from safety training,
conduct a visual check on the machine before turning it on,
inspect the machine guards if they are properly placed,
wear the appropriate PPE, and
notify your supervisor for machine parts that needs to be replaces, including its safeguards.
By recognizing and fulfilling these responsibilities, we can continue working in a safe environment that allows us to thrive.
